eliDUR high-tech initial lubricant

Replacing the current series lubrication, this new high-performance lubricant has been developed specially for the ELITE range of roller and conveyor chains to replace the current lubrication used for the range. An optimized wear additive in the oil improves the performance of ELITE roller and conveyor chains up to 250%!

Advantages:

  • Significant extension of wear lifespan compared with conventional long-term lubricated chains
  • Minimum initial elongation compared with conventionally prelubricated chains
  • Excellent adhesion properties
  • Outstanding corrosion protection
  • Noise-reducing
  • Good compatibility with other chain lubricants

Features:

  • Mineral oil-based chain oil with additives
  • Operating temperature range: -5°C to +120°C
  • Colour: brown
  • Kinematic viscosity at 40°C: 460 cst
  • Characteristic odour, water-insoluble
  • Biologically safe, non-toxic

Other ELITE lubricants for various applications

Special lubricants available as an alternative to initial lubrication:

  • EL3
  • Long-term lubrication for high speeds, heavy loads and high temperatures. Due to its increased viscosity it will not drip over the entire temperature range of -5°C to +150°C

  • EL4
  • Thermally stable high-temperature lubricant providing good wear and corrosion protection. Low evaporation rate in the temperature range from 0°C to +250°C. Forms no residue at temperatures above +250°C

  • EL5
  • Food-grade lubricant with USDA-H1 and LMBG approval. Safe for contact with food. Provides excellent wear and corrosion protection and has good adhesion properties.

Temperature range from -40°C to +110°C

  • EL7
  • Food-grade lubricant with good wear and corrosion resistance. Excellent ageing and oxidation resistance for long life. Good viscosity temperature behaviour.

Temperature range from -25°C to +120°C

  • EL8
  • Highly biodegradable lubricant with good wear protection and adhesion properties. Complies with CLP requirements and is classified as water hazard class 1 (= generally not hazardous to water). Temperature range from -20°C to +110°C
